Precision Diagnosis

Each patient receives a thorough evaluation before any treatment is recommended — the goal is accurate diagnosis, individualized planning, and care that is appropriate for where you are in your healing process. The diagnostic process may include an ultrasound-guided diagnostic block at your first visit.

From there, Dr. Murakami develops a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, which may draw from a range of options including mobility exercises, acupuncture, osteopathic manipulation, and interventional injections — or any combination of these, depending on what is most appropriate for your condition.

A Collaborative Approach

Dr. Murakami works closely with referring physicians and rehabilitation specialists throughout the care process, including primary care physicians, orthopedic and spine surgeons, rheumatologists, and physical and occupational therapists.

Are you far away from the Bay Area or unable to get to Walnut Creek? Dr. Murakami can also provide remote telehealth consultations, and collaborate with any of your existing providers.
