Philosophy
Having been a patient who has undergone numerous surgeries, I understand the challenges of living with pain and disability, and the importance of compassionate, individualized care. As an expert spine and joint care physician, my role is to help guide your healing process.
I believe that both conventional medicine and non-conventional treatment modalities have their place, and that the body has a powerful ability to heal itself.
dual board-certified
- Fellowship in Pain Medicine — University of California, San Diego — 2016
- Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) — Mount Sinai, NY — 2015
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) — Touro University, CA — 2011
With over 15 years of experience, I have cared for patients with spine, joint, and sports-related injuries. My background in pain rehabilitation combined with my training in regenerative medicine, osteopathy and acupuncture allows me to look beyond symptoms — focusing on restoring function, preventing disability, and supporting long-term recovery.
Before attending medical school, I founded and directed an integrative medicine center inspired by my own experiences as a patient. That early work shaped my belief that healing often requires both conventional medicine and complementary approaches, and it continues to influence how I care for my patients today.
Approach to Care
Whether you’re an athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone who wants to move without pain, my practice centers on figuring out where your pain is coming from by evaluating your neurological and muscular status and looking at the alignment of your spine and joints.
Then, we discuss treatment options that resonate with you.
Depending on your needs, this may include:
- Ultrasound-guided precision injections
- X-ray guided spine and joint injections
- PRP or BMAC injections for spine, joint, tendon, and ligament injuries
- Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Peptide Treatments
- Diet, exercise guidance
The goal is restoring mobility, and returning you to the activities that matter most.
Work Beyond Patient Care
As an Adjunct Professor at Touro University, I help train the next generation of osteopathic physicians.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) in California, providing independent medical evaluations within the workers’ compensation system. I also serve as a Medical Expert Witness on complex cases that require careful investigation and analysis.
